To drive investment attraction in digital economy from existing investors (foreign & local) in Malaysia and creating high value jobs. This will include lead generation, stakeholder & partner engagement, closing of opportunities and various other activities in relation to business development.
Activities include driving investment attraction and driving lead generation and opportunity pursuit of target business portfolio.
Driving priority projects, processes, and activities to support the development and growth of Domestic Digital Investment related companies.
Duties & Responsibilities
Drive all engagements with investors and stakeholders to ensure outcomes & deliverables are achieved based on domestic digital investment direction & focus.
Ensure all potential facilitation and solutions are aligned to overall direction of MDEC.
Leverage, funnel and pre-qualify for lead generation activities from various fronts.
Build and maintain relationship/partnership with domestic digital investment investors.
Driving closure of opportunities
Drive digital investment leads/opportunities closure with state corridor/IPAs and industry associations
Drive subject matter expertise around MDIS from digital investment perspective
Qualifications
Minimum 3 to 5 years of working experience. Relevant experience is an advantage.
Minimum Degree holder in IT/Business/Marketing/Management or related fields.
Experience in relationship management and business development is an advantage
Ability to drive ideas, drive plans, strategies and execute the ideas to fulfill the desired outcome.
High logical thinking & problem-solving skills.
Excellent writing, communication & presentation skills.
Understanding of good domain knowledge of Digital Economy.
