Job Purpose

Provide effective coordination, facilitation and execution towards the achievement of defined goals and outcomes for the Fintech and Islamic Digital Ecosystem (FIDE) department in accordance with guidelines and governance standards.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support thought leadership and input into strategic policy formulation and implementation for FIDE ecosystem.
  • Support the promotion/amplification plan and support its implementation through effective coordination and collaboration with the selected IDE partners from the communities.
  • Provide support to ensure that work outcomes are developed with leading edge thoughts by conducting research, gaining knowledge, information and data.
  • Contribute to ensure programs are delivered in an integrated manner by coordinating with resources from other functions or business units and integrating their inputs or outputs.
  • Support the continued growth and development of the FIDE department’s objectives providing feedback, inputs and actively participating in internal discussions (i.e. team, department meetings) and external forums.
  • Support to ensure that work processes are efficient and effectively managed by making recommendations to management and participating in projects and initiatives to drive future outcome.
  • Support to administer programs and processes diligently taking into account internal policies, compliance and standard operating procedures.
  • Independent to make sound judgement and referring to superiors when making timely decisions.

Qualifications

  • Possess reasonable experience either as an industry player or in the industry and having knowledge in Islamic finance will be an added advantage.
  • Good understanding of ICT industry, business & technology trends
  • Basic knowledge in Islamic finance (e.g. issues, trends and policies/guidelines).
  • Analytical skill.
  • Business and market intelligence.
  • Capable of doing Project Management.
  • Good understanding of ICT industry - technology, business, economics etc
