Job Purpose

Work closely with senior leaders to conceptualise and produce (with great sense of urgency) world-class designs, brand assets and campaign creatives for MDEC's marketing/advertising campaigns on traditional and digital media channels.

Duties & Responsibilities

Creative Conceptualisation

  1. Work collaboratively with internal marketing teams as well as external agencies in creative brainstorming to unearth solutions in addressing marketing/advertising challenges.

Creative Production

  1. Work collaboratively with external agencies, and at times independently, in producing marketing/advertising assets including (but not limited to) logos/mastheads, campaign key visuals as well as the application of key visuals across traditional and digital media channels.

Brand Adherence

  1. Monitoring and control of brand CI in accordance to the MDEC brand guideline to ensure consistency in look and feel as well as brand tone of voice.


  1. B.A./B.S. in Graphic Design, Multimedia Arts.
  2. Minimum of 5 years design experience ideally at a tech/media company or digital agency.
  3. Expert-level proficiency of Adobe Creative Cloud applications, particularly graphic design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator and Sketch.

Competency Required

  1. Strong ability in graphic design, typography and UX/UI design.
  2. Familiarity in social media advertising (ie. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube & TikTok) as well as digital advertising formats (ie. display advertising, video, search).
  3. Understanding of core brand design concepts with the ability to manage the corporate brand consistency.
  4. Ability to hold a strong design vision while remaining collaborative and open to new ideas.
  5. Early adopter and stays abreast with the latest design trends.
  6. Customer-oriented and possesses excellent time management capabilities.
  7. High attention to detail.
  8. Ability to articulately communicate ideas and design concepts.
  9. Highly adaptable and able to thrive in a VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous) environment.
