Job Description
Core Deliverables

1. STRATEGIC PLANNING & PROGRAMME DEVELOPMENT 

To support the planning, coordination and development of plans and programs as well as propose areas of intervention, including:

  • Research and analysis of market report
  • Support the engagement with relevant Ministries and Agencies
  • Engage with and explore collaboration with international and local industry players.
  • Identify and highlight issues requiring intervention and prioritise intervention areas
  • To support workshops/labs/seminars/roundtables with relevant Ministries, Agencies and Industry players to obtain inputs and buy-in
  • Consolidate input and prepare reports for reporting to the management and relevant taskforces/ committees with recommendations if required

2. OUTREACH & ENGAGEMENT

To support and coordinate overall Outreach and Engagement programmes, including:

  • To engage relevant stakeholders such as Ministries, Agencies, State government entities and associations to plan targeted outreach programs
  • To carry out awareness and engagement programs to local businesses
  • To facilitate onboarding of local businesses to industry partners for potential export opportunities
  • Prepare reports for reporting to the management and relevant taskforces/committees with recommendations if required

3. PROJECT MANAGEMENT

To support project management in the implementation of programmes including:

  • Track the overall project resources (budget and manpower)
  • Coordinate, monitor and report on project execution and implementation in a timely manner, including timely reporting and escalation of issues
  • Actively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders and ensure timely delivery of outcomes
  • Conduct research and analyze data to facilitate discussions and reporting
  • To support the project governance which include engagement with internal stakeholders for procurement process, legal documentations, audit process, etc.

4. Account Management, Monitoring & Reporting

To assist and support the execution of the following:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationship with industry players
  • Manage industry players to ensure programs are carried out according to plan and ensure committed targets are delivered.
  • Collaborate with industry partners for outreach activities
  • Compile, consolidate, analyze reports from partners for reporting to Management and relevant taskforces, committees, ministries, agencies.

Qualifications

Qualifications 

  • Recognised tertiary-level qualification in any related fields
  • A graduate with min 3 years of experience, the job holder will have gained experience managing projects or is an experienced individual contributor who has experience and knowledge of digitalisation
  • Experience in eCommerce, Business, and Trade Industries will be an added advantage

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills, particularly with Government stakeholders
  • Works well with colleagues and adaptable to cross-functional roles
  • Able to work efficiently under minimal supervision
  • Hardworking and proactive in executing assigned tasks
  • Understanding of Industry Dynamics, Business Issues and Technology
  • View situations critically and provide innovative solutions

Technical Skills

  • Deep understanding of e-commerce related issues and opportunities
  • Good understanding of e-commerce technologies and industry
  • Data Visualisation, Data Analytical or any Database Management Skills
  • Business analysis and due diligence
