Job Description

Job Purpose

Lead and achieve committed work, project and program goals within agreed quality and standards in line with the functional unit’s goals covering the following areas:

  1. Malaysia Digital Health
  2. Job assignment as directed by MDEC’s management and the Ministry of Digital, i.e. National Data Sharing Policy (NDSP) Implementation Unit

Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Achieve projects and program goals efficiently and effectively within quality standards by understanding desired outcomes and executing accordingly.
  2. Ensure projects are delivered in an integrated manner by coordinating with resources from other functions or business units and integrating their inputs or outputs.
  3. Coordinate with multiple parties/stakeholders/business units to obtain relevant information/data, prepare documentation, deliver presentations, and gain cooperation to undertake shared or common tasks while securing buy-in.
  4. Develop, gain timely agreement, and implement action plans and programs by understanding functional unit’s strategies and business plans, assessing the operating environment, and planning accordingly.
  5. Develop and enhance the capabilities of team members by providing personal supervision, guidance, and feedback.
  6. Administer programs and processes diligently and within policy and compliance standards by making timely decisions and referring where required.
  7. Maintain and enhance personal knowledge and capabilities by networking, conducting personal research, and seeking information.
  8. Undertake any job assignment as directed by MDEC’s management and/or the Ministry of Digital.

Qualifications

  • A graduate with a minimum of 7–10 years of working experience.
  • The jobholder will have gained experience in managing and executing projects.
  • A candidate with consulting background in digital transformation-related projects and/or the digital health domain and/or data knowhow (e.g., data sharing, data governance, data platforms and best practices, etc.) will have an added advantage.
  • Project management experience with credentials/certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, etc. will be preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, in particular with proven experience in PowerPoint presentation design,.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
